I can't live another week with Jason Castro sustaining this week's elimination. Thank God, he's the recent boot from the competition as America narrows it down to three: Syesha Mercado, David Cook and David Archuleta.
Jason had been pretty much of a disappointment for the past three weeks, singing the wrong songs, giving us mediocre performances and even messing up lines from last night's contest.
I was not surprised that America has decided to let him go. He should have been eliminated even before Brooke, Ramiele, Michael and Carly.
I won't dwell more on Jason now that he's gone, so let's give the spotlight to the three remaining survivors of the game.
Syesha Mercado. The constant improvement in her performances plus her vocal prowess have made her survive each week; she has been a potential boot for the past couple of weeks but had escape eliminations due to her giving best performances for the past two weeks. My prediction on her making it to the Final 3 came true. If she gives another shocker, breath-taking performance the next round, she has a really big chance on winning the competition.
David Archuleta. Archuleta has been one of the most consistent in the batch. I don't like him for he has this annoying tone and nasal voice, but girls gone gaga for him and they voted him until today because of his ability to balance charm and talent. Archuleta sure is the one to beat this year and him making it to the Final 2 kinda assures him the win. That, I would be so sad if he does. It will be another Taylor Hicks moment for me.
David Cook. I wish he won't f*ck up the next two rounds for he has the best chance to win the title. People have discovered him to be this season's underdog. He started his way to our hearts when he sang 'Billie Jean'. His performances just touched us from then. He made us screech our way to Youtube every American Idol day just to check out what he'd sing and how he fared. Admit it, you're hooked with 'Always Be My Baby'. Its even on-air here in the Philippines. This guy's a hit. He just have to pull out another 'Always Be My Baby' level performance and he can have the AMERICAN IDOL title alone for himself.
