Why i will never vote for STAND UP in the USC

i share my batchmates sentiments, so imma post it here

so yun, scary nga talaga ang standup.

i have personal experience how members of standup conspires to sway situations into their favors.

back when i was the college representative of CBA to the USC

i ran as marketing head for the usc. deadline and rules for application was set and was approved by the body.

i submitted my platform and requirements on time.

when the selection committee (which was controlled by members of their party, since they were the majority) opened the box, they found out that their party mate, who happened to be from my college as well, failed to submit his gpoa and requirements on time.

without consultation from the general assembly, the committee extended the deadline after they had copies of my gpoa as marketing head for the USC.

from that day, i realized how standup will always conspire and bend rules in their favor.

so whenever i see members of their organization speak, i just cant help but laugh.

One thing i learned in UP, never trust someone from STANDUP.

oh, and if something happens to me, alam na rin ninyo kung sino may kasalanan.

Please repost this in your blogs and emails and yahoogroups. I wont just sit around and let StandUP walk around without explaining where the money went. And i hope you do the same.

Nasaan ang P15M?

Ang StandUP ay nagnakaw sa UP ng P15M.

Yup, noong 1999, si Hannah Eunice Serrana, ang elected Student Regent (SR) ng UP ay nagnakaw ng P15 Million pesos from UP. Ito ay solicited from the president then, Erap Estrada, and was supposed to be used for the rehabilitation, renovation and redevelopment ng Vinzons as a premiere student center, which will be able to house student organizations na walang tambayan, and improve facilities for the students, and the development of a mini-theatre sa Vinzons Rooftop. Noong 1999, ang Vinzons Building sana ang magiging premiere student center sa buong Pilipinas, tala po ang mga student center ng La Salle, Ateneo, at UST.

Pero ninakaw ng StandUP.

Sino ba si Hannah Serrana?

Si Hannah Serrana ay isang estudyante mula sa UP Cebu. Siya at miyembro ng Kasama sa UP. Isang alliance ng mga student councils sa UP System. Ang majority ng members nito ay StandUP. So in short, StandUP controlled ang Kasama sa UP, and in essence, ang GASC.

Bakit StandUP controlled and Kasama sa UP at GASC?

Sa pamamagitan ng Kasama sa UP, nakakakolekta ang StandUP ng pera mula sa administrasyon para sa pamasahe ng mga student councils mula sa ibang campuses papunta sa taunang General Assembly of Student Councils (GASC) ng UP System. Dito ninonominate at pinagbobotohan ng mga student councils kung sino ang magiging sunod na Student Regent ng UP System para sa Board of Regents, na nagdedesisyon sa isyu tulad ng TOFI at iba pa.

Noong 1999, and StandUP trained, nominated at elected SR ay si Hannah Serrana.

Paano naging StandUP si Hanah Serrana?

Sa paggamit ng pangalan ng Kasama sa UP, nakalikom ng pera ang StandUP upang bigyan ng mga pamasahe ang mga kaalyado nilang student councils mula sa ibang campuses. Sa pamamagitan nito, natitiyak nila na ang bilang ng mga boto sa tuwing pipili ng student regent ay in favor lagi sa gusto nila. StandUP and nagfund ng fare, board and lodging, and expenses Serrana. Sa GASC, ang StandUP ang nagtrain kay Serrana, sa pamamagitan ng pagbigay ng mga tanong na lalabas sa grilling ng mga nominees. Mga tanong na plantsado na ang sagot at pinamemorya na lamang kay Serrana.

At sa nasabing eleksyon ng GASC, yan na nga ang nangyari, si Serrana ang naging SR.

At noong 1999, naganap ang inaasahan ng StandUP. Ninakaw ni Serrana ang P15 Million pesos mula sa UP

Hindi ba kayo nagtataka na simula 1999, wala kayong narining na pagiingay mula sa StandUP ukol sa isyu na ito.

They know nothing but go out in the streets and clamor for change in the government, when they themselves train corruption and greed within their organization. They did nothing but clamor for the resignation of officials of the government, when in fact, they themselves are guilty of laundering money from the University. StandUP stole P15 Million pesos from UP.

Ang kapal ng mukha nila na magsalita about fighting corruption. Eh wala nga silang ginagawa sa P15 Million na ninakaw nila. Kung ang tulad ni Serrana ang napoproduce ng ipinagmamalaki nilang training and ideology indoctrinination, what else can we expect from their pool of officers.

At sa Centennial ng UP, hindi ako papayag, na ang partido na nagnakaw ng P15 Million noong 1999, ang sya muling hahawak ng mga milyon milyong mga perang papasok sa USC sa taong ito at kailanman.

NEVER VOTE FOR STANDUP SA USC ELECTIONS.

I will never vote for Stupid, Annoying, Noisy, and Disruptive UP students for the USC.

Heres a SHORT list of reasons i got from forums (peyups et al) as to why i will never vote for StandUP...

1) All StandUP dominated USC never released financial statements. Where did they spend the money they were given. All the donations, all the marketing that came in. Where is the money? They never account for all expenses.

2) All StandUP lead UP Fair / USC Night produce few tickets than necessary. It was intentional. So all sales in excess from the number of tickets produced wont have to be accounted for. Galing no? Talk about "moderating greed" daw.

3) When the the tambayans built in Vinzons were built, and was due to be given away, the StandUP held committee prioritized members of their Alliance. Galing no?

4) All organizations under StandUP that had debts from the USC duing the previous UPFair never paid them till now. So whenever StandUP dominated USC holds the UPFair, expect that these organizations which has outstanding debts to the USC, are free to bid and hold a fair nights. Ask StandUP why.

5) The Philippine Collegian always downplay frat violence involving their member fraternities.

Have you ever wondered why all their propaganda statements are so nice to look at?

They are all brand new. Hahahahaha~ Do you know how much craft paper is? Those brown paper hanging and posted all over the University? And how much those paint are? And how much those brushes are? WHERE THE HELL DID ALL THESE MATERIALS COME FROM? Buti sana kung mga old newspaper ginagamit nila. But no. Brand new craft paper talaga ha?

Well, P15 Million can really do a lot? RIGHT?

Every year, the Administration spends thousands of pesos for repainting the walls of the university whenever StandUP wants to get noticed because they dont really know anything about organizing projects that benefit the students. Thousands of pesos which could be spent on buying new computers, computers that you and i can use. Something that will make our studying life better. Eh pwede naman nila idrawing at ipintura sa newspaper, at hawakan buong araw at maglakad paikot ikot ng UP, eh di mas nakita pa sila.

Kaya lang kasi, nakakatamad maghawak ng statement cards.

EH TAMAD NAMAN TALAGA ANG StandUP EH.

Have you ever wondered how come during campaigns, they say the same thing? Because these are rehash statements from previous elections. They call themselves progressive and yet, the do nothing but memorize previous speeches and use them every year. But when you ask them about the P15 Million they stole, the just say "Kaya patuloy po nating tinututulan ang korupsyon sa anumang antas at lebel nito sa lipunan..." OK. THAT WAS HELPFUL. lol.

StandUP was formed from rhetorics and fallacies, and drenched in self-messianic complexes.

Ask yourself, nagimprove ba ang buhay mo as a UP student this year?

Kung hindi, well alam mo na kung bakit.

Malaki ang maitutulong sana ng P15 Million pesos para sa inyo bilang estudyante ng UP.

Sayang nga lang, ninakaw ng StandUP at ang kapal ng mukha, deadma lang sila.

Ikaw? Deadma ka lang din ba?

Lumabas na ang decision ng Supreme Court, GUILTY SI SERRANA.

Ang pera? Nasaan? Hindi naman kinain ni Ms Serrano yun no.

EH di tingin tingin na lang tayo sa mga waiting sheds at election materials ng StandUP.

Ang StandUP nasaan? Yun nagpaparty at sumasayaw sa music ni Bob Marley.
