The UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) results for academic year AY 2013-2014 is officially released by the University of the Philippines on Saturday February 2, 2013. List of passers announced on their official website for online availability.
Results also posted at the U.P. Office of Admissions and are now available on site mirrors that will redirect to the main UPCAT results. Stickbreadsolutions and Preginet are the site mirrors according to UP on January 25 update:

Last year (UPCAT 2012-2013), there were over 70,000 who took examinations. According to reports, only around 17% usually passed UPCAT every year or can be translated to an average of 10,000 out of 60,000 examinees can surpass the exam.
UPCAT Results 2013 Online for incoming freshmen of AY 2013-2014 will be available on UP website with list of surname alphabetically arranged.
It is also usual that results are released around February. Last year is different since the announcement of passers was done weeks ahead of schedule.
UP is the premier state university in the Philippines known for its academic excellence in Asia. One of the major reasons why high school students early dream of entering the institution. It has 8 constituent universities - UP Diliman with extension program in Pampanga, UP Baguio, UP Los Banos, UP Manila, UP Visayas, UP Cebu, UP Mindanao and Open University.
To maintain its high standard of education and to maximize its limited resources, UP has had to limit slots for freshman admission to each campus and to its various degree programs through UPCAT.
The UPCAT is a five-hour examination in English and Filipino and consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency, Science, Mathematics and Reading Comprehension. Standardized scores on these subtests are combined with the weighted average of final grades in the first three years of high school to determine qualification into UP. Moreover, to implement the policy of democratization to make the UP studentry more representative of the nation’s population, socioeconomic and geographic considerations are factored in the selection of campus qualifiers.
