The Voice of the Philippines Blind Audition: Thor Dulay Performance, Balut Vendor Romel Colao and Team Members Update

Thor Dulay, a 32-year-old back-up singer to comedian Vice Ganda and other OPM artists like MYMP, Luke Mejares, Nina, and Jay-R.was faced with a tough decision on who to pick among the four superstar-coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and apl.de.ap of "The Voice of the Philippines" after impressing them with his rendition of the Whitney Houston hit "I Have Nothing." Watch below:

Dulay, the first contestant to turns all 4 chairs in the singing competition's "BlindAudition" is not a newbie to the industry. He already released three albums so far since 2004 and was named as Breakthrough Artist in Urban Music Awards.
Meanwhile, another contestant caught the attention of four coaches during the first "Blind Audition" episode of the singing-reality show.

Although he failed to get a turn from any of the four coaches with his soulful performance of Gary V.'s performed “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos”, 32-year-old Romel Colao, a balut vendor from Bukidnon, made the four judges became emotional with his life story. Sarah even cried while offering her word of advice and  sharing her sympathy to him. apl.de.ap, on the other hand, encouraged the balut vendor tocontinue following his dreams and shared his story when he was a kid, helping his mother sell “uling” in the street.
