Sunday All Stars Set To Air as Party Pilipinas Replacement (Teaser Video)

In a teaser released by GMA 7, Sunday All Stars is set to replace the musical variety noontime show Party Pilipinas, which was cancelled recently due to its failure to compete with ASAP, ABS-CBN counterpart.

Rumors are circulating that "the brightest and hottest Kapuso stars" will be infusing in a "new level of noontime TV experience" according to the press release from GMA 7. The stars will be divided into four teams and each week, they will be participating in a show down. Each team will be headed by a Kapuso artist ala Protege.

As of the moment, the cast who are set to appear as mainstays of the show will be introduced on June 9. Among the show's cast who will be providing ground-braking concepts and inventive production numbers are powerhouse singers Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Jaya, Janno Gibs and champion singers Mark Bautista, Christian Bautista, Rachelle Ann Go. Hot Kapuso stars such as Jolina Magdangal, Jennylyn Mercado, Lovi Poe, Carla Abellana and Heart Evangelista will also spice up the program.

PERSONAL: It is kind of disappointing that GMA 7 banked on the brightest stars who were from Kapamilya network for a show which is supposed to be training ground for talents they have produced in the past (in Starstruck, Protege and other singing searches).
