Limkeikai Explosion Leaves 6 Killed, 28 Injured in Cagayan de Oro Blast

As reported, LimkeiKat Mall in CDO was thrilled with a blast today leaving six killed and 28 hurt. the Limkeikat Explosion in Cagayan de Oro City, happened July 26, 11:30 PM.

According to reports, it happened at Kyla's Bistro, at the Rosario Arcade sector of the mall.


Among those who were killed was 44 year old Roldan Lagbas, Misamis Oriental provincial board member, who died on the spot. Identities of some victims were not revealed to the public by police.

According to Ian Acenas, the vice mayor of CDO, the horrible incident was the worst thing he ever saw with heads rolling and brain splattering the floor.

He added that some of the injured are doctors attending a national conference. Acenas, who condemned the blast “to the highest form,” urged residents and tourists not to be complacent while “the threat is still ongoing.”
