Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, Carlo Aquino, 5 More Artists Sign ABS-CBN Contract

One of the stars who renewed their contract with ABS-CBN last night is Piolo Pascual. Currently, Piolo is going to do a concert before the year ends. This will mark his fifteenth year in the entertainment scene.

“This not just about the job but it is also about having a home and doing something worthwhile,” Piolo Pascual said upon renewing his ABS-CBN contract.



Apoy sa Dagat star Diether Ocampo will also be renewing his contract. He has been with the network since 1995.

“This event is very symbolic. I can’t even count how long I've been in showbusiness anymore and I am very thankful to the people behind my career,” said Diether.

Among the other male artists who were with the two in the Kapamilya signing earlier were Zanjoe Marudo, Jason Abalos, Carlo Aquino and Jason Gainza. 

Carlo Aquino was given the opportunity to come back in the network with a welcome project, Annaliza. He will be playing the antagonist role. Jason Gainza said, “ABS-CBN and Star Magic know how to take care of their talents so in return, I will continue to give my best in making people laugh and also making them cry in my shows.” 

He is currently a mainstay in Banana Split and is part of the ending soap Ina, Kapatid, Anak.

Julia Barretto and Andrea Brillantes, the Annaliza lead artist also formalized their commitment. The Maria Mercedes remake will be lead by Jessy Mendiola and Jake Cuenca and Jason Abalos will be part of it. Julia Barretto will be leading the cast of the Gloria Romero starrer TV remake of Cofradia.
