DepEd Organizes 2013 ALS A&E Examination on October

The Department of Education through Bureau of Alternative Learning System will conduct the 2013 Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (2013 ALS A&E) Exam for elementary and secondary levels, including visually-impaired, in 17 regions nationwide.

ALS A&E test is a paper and pencil-based test, using multiple choice and composition writing. The test is designed to measure competencies of those who have neither attender nor finished the elementary or secondary level in formal school system.

ALS Exam schedule

• October 6, 2013 – Regions 9, 10, 11, 12, Caraga and ARMM
  
• October 13, 2013 – Regions 5, 6, 7, 8
  
• October 20, 2013 – Regions 1, 2, 3 and CAR
  
• October 27, 2013 – NCR, 4-A (Calabarzon), 4-B (Mimaropa)

Registration period for interested takers will be from July 4 to August 2, 2013 in duly designated Registration and Testing Center (RTC) identified by schools division/city superintendent. I will post the RTCs here as soon as made available by Deped.
