DOLE May 1 Job Fairs 2013 venues announced!

Good news to all unemployed.  The Department of Labor and Employment announcedthat more than 400,000 jobs await Filipinos for during the simultaneous job fairs to be held on May 1, Labor Day.

According to Director Nicon Fameronag of the Labor Communication Office, some 75 job fairs will be held nationwide on May 1, with 16 of them at the National Capital Region (NCR).  DOLE has partnered with mall giant SM as venues for the job fairs in Metro Manila.

What to bring:

The labor and employment agency advised job seekers to prepare a comprehensive resume, valid IDs and credentials before going to the job fairs.

Other requirements might be a well-written cover letter, NSO-certified birth certificate, and Transcript of Records,  among others.

DOLE advises applicants to submit applications to multiple employers for a higher chance to get hired.   Similar with other job applications and interviews, it is always a must to wear an appropriate attire.  A business casual is usually a smarter choice.
