It's All About Angel

It's confirmed. The hottest star of GMA 7 has arrived in their rival network ABS-CBN. After lots of speculations that made Angel Locsin the talk of the town this past few weeks, the silence broke with bitterness (from GMA) and eagerness from Angel's camp as she was ready to move on, take a risk and bring her stardom to a different, new level.

A lot has been said about the offers given by ABS to her, triple payment plus big breaks like movie offers of Piolo-Angel tandem and a telenovela not yet disclosed.

This seems so hard for GMA to let go so they had their final statement on Angel's sudden decision. Whatever happens, I will support Angel. Though I think she should have given more credit to GMA for making her the star that she is right now.

But at least now, Angel can move freely as she decided this way. I hope that it would be a good career move for her, along with Toni, Angelika and Anne who switched loyalties from GMA to ABS.

PBB Angels, New Talkshow

Continuing success for the PBB angels, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzalez as they are to face the TV with a new show! Yes, guys. A showbiz talk show that will be facing Startalk, will soon come out sometime August or September.

I hope that seeing them weekly would really be nice to watch in TV. Haha. Well, this break would coincide with their hosting jobs at PBB: CE which will be starting sometime January.

Margarita de Wendita

I can't believe it. What the heck are the ABS people thinking, giving Wendita a telenovela, where she plays the lead role. That kinda sucks. She can't carry that show. If it hits, well, uhm. Haha. I can't see it hitting all kinds of people. Maybe, this is what will face Marian Rivera's Marimar. The title of the show is Margarita.

The show will feature some true-to-life Wendy experiences with some scripted twists. I will prolly watch the start but will not like it.

On International Shows:

Big Brother 8: Joe Out.

A stunning decision made by the houseguests, the gonorrhea thing did not work too well as Joe got evicted from the show last round. He was faced against Daniele's father Dick, after Daniele won the Power of Veto, which removed her from the nomination block.

As of now, Kail and Jen were put up for nomination by the Head of the Household Dick. Let's see what happens.

The Amazing Race Asia 2

The Amazing Race 2 was sighted here in Manila last July 5 and 6, wherein the teams went under the Carriedo station for their detour. One which involves shoes and another which involves bike assembling.

There were also sightings in Paco Park and Budapest, Hungary! +)

Marc Nelson, the local TV show host from Sports Unlimited was reportedly in the Race, representing the Philippines, along with an unpopular guy. The leg was said to be the second of the race.

I hope Filipinos represent well this time.
