He was named Rommel. He was born in the peaceful Olongapo City where he was nurtured by his loving parents, Rolando Malto Copuyoc and Levi Dimayuga Copuyoc, which were former US Naval Base employees.
Obviously, he's an Aquarian. Another tidbit: he was born an Iglesia Ni Cristo.
He studied in Tabacuhan Elementary School, one of the two schools in his baranggay, where he graduated as Valedictorian. He was trained and skilled. He bested public and private schools' contenders in various Math, Spelling and History contests everytime he competes, may it be on his division or his region.
When he ventured for high school, he stepped on the grounds of Regional Science High School -III situated at East Kalayaan, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City. There, he became the consistent Math contender of the school, he never failed to bag the win in his division. He was also given the chance at some History, Essay and Journalism contests.
He is his English school paper "The Eagles" Sports Editor when he was in his junior year, and Circulations Manager in his senior year.
He finished as the Class 1st Special Academic Distinction (6th Honor). He was also tagged as the best of the class in Statistics and Math. He was also named one of the Researchers of the Year, for his study, majoring in Life Science, "The Feasibility of Termite Extract as Antibacterial", with the modern title, "Wood Eater, Bacteria Fighter!!!", which won 2nd in the National Science Fair (held at Ilocos Norte) last year.
He enjoyed a lot from his highschool years. He had met his first true friends, had his first serious fights, first love, first prom, first all. He took CAT training course and became an officer in his senior year.
He then graduated highschool and passed the University of the Philippines-Diliman Admissions Test. He entered college as a DOST scholar. He is currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and hopes to graduate with honors (wooshooo, la namang pag-asa).
As of now, he dwells at Molave Residence Hall. You can normally see him, at Internet Cafe's at the Shopping Center, at the University of the Philippines DOST Scholars' Association Tambayan and at the famous (even non-famous) food stations around the campus. (Oh yes, he's fat!)
He's planning to be the BEST in his field after ten years. That is, if he surpass the most excruciating part of his life, the dreaded college years in UP. =P
